I make places on the web. My journey into web development began with Perpetual Education, learning the whole process from an idea to a working site.
Since then, I’ve built interfaces at API3, a website for a family-owned pizzeria, and an event site that brought together DeSci World and local Indian visual influences. The projects change; I still enjoy figuring out how a place should feel and then making it work.
People, stories, interfaces
I’m fascinated by the intersection of cognitive science and storytelling in web development. How do people think, process information, and make decisions? Those questions matter when you’re making something someone else has to find their way around.
In my free time, I enjoy gaming, and I see coding as another form of gaming—one that pays! Both have room for thoughtfully designed interfaces and the small details that make an experience feel alive.
Still exploring
When I started, I wrote: “The World is Wide and as I explore this Web I hope to find where my talents and interests intersect!” That curiosity is still a good description of what brings me back.
